She's got a secret smile

For years Art Historians and the general public have wondered what or who made Mona Lisa smile. Her smile has captivated the interest and curiosity of the world.

When I smile I want the world to know the reason...Jesus is madly in love with me and I feel the same!

A smile is infectious, contagious, attractive. I remember a few weeks ago, I was feeling a heavy weight of sadness on my heart (I had lost a few friends) and I had to still be a leader, teacher, wife, mother...God said to me, "Give me a smile".
Well I nearly choked! Smile, while sad???

However I did it. So picture me walking up the stairs in church, preparing the tea and coffee, getting ready for people coming...and grinning like a Cheshire cat!!! On my own!!! I couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous I must have looked!

God knew how to lift my spirit and lighten the load! :)

[ People Returning for the Reunion ] "Get out of bed, Jerusalem! Wake up. Put your face in the sunlight. God's bright glory has risen for you. The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all people sunk in deep darkness, But God rises on you, his sunrise glory breaks over you. Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness. Look up! Look around! Watch as they gather, watch as they approach you: Your sons coming from great distances, your daughters carried by their nannies. When you see them coming you'll smilebig smiles! Your heart will swell and, yes, burst!" (Is61)

"Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I'll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He's my God." (Ps42:5)
